I'm still unsure of who I think it it is, but I think it might be from CoFA or from one of the future TMI books. What book do you think this quote is from and who do you think is quoted?

Well, it's not Magnus or Luke, 'cause it implies not being a Downworlder or a mundane. I'm guessing either Will or Jem, talking to Tessa.

ReplyDeleteI can't decide if it's Jem discouraging Tessa from being in a relationship with a Shadowhunter while prepping to pour his heart out to her, or Will trying to make excuses and *not* tell her how he feels, but pawn it off like they could never be together.
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's the chance that it's one of the older Shadowhunters talking to Jace or Clary while the two of them are fighting, basically saying, "You're meant for each other and this is why it hurts so bad."
