But he'd already done it. When Jace moved fast, his individual movements were almost invisible. She saw his hand go to his belt, and then something flashed in the air. She heard the sound o parting fabric as she cord above her head was sheared through. Releases, she feel freely, too surprised to scream-directly into Jace's arms. The force knocked him backward, and they sprawled together onto one of the padded floor mats, Clary on top of him. He grinned up at her.
"Now," he said, "that was much better. You didn't scream at all."

Lot of reasons: I would like to win because since I read City of Bones, Cassandra is my favourite writer, I'm addicted to her books!lol. I love everything and everyone in her stories! I would love to win because Cassie Clare is my favorite author (which is saying something because reading is my favorite activity). She inspired me to pick up my pen again and start writing: I haven't put it down since. When I get writer's block, I pick up her books and read them and think, "What would Cassie do?" This always has helped me.

Her tour dates are always too distant for me to drive to. It would honestly make me one of the happiest people alive to have an autographed copy of City of Fallen Angels!

Shadowhunters love me, my mom gave me last Christmas trilogy, and since I started reading it, I loved it, then search the internet for some posts and pages facebook to talk about these books and I liked that also had many fans of this American saga and then I saw he had shadowhunters: the origins and I started reading it when I get to my city.

Actually, I'd love to win because it is unclear whether the letter of Jace Clary will be released in Spain, and would be a real shame that we could not have, besides that I love this series and I love each and every one of his characters (well, not all, Valentine does not have much appreciate it, LOL), since I know this love saga Jace and everything around him, like a book signed by the woman who created you (thanks for that) or a letter written by him to his girlfriend.

I'm hispanic, and I'm living here in the United States since January. I had friends in South America, but here... my only friends are the books! I LOVE THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS!! Ask Cassandra Clare, and she will say that I'm her fan #1, almost her stalker. My favorite books were Harry Potter, and I was sure no book was better than HP. But when I read The Mortal Instruments, I couldn't believe it! They are too good to be real! Maybe Cassandra don't like me because I stalk her, but these books are very important for me. ReplyDelete(1) I've never actually won anything in my entire life. I might be because I just have EXTREMELY bad luck or... no, just that. But it would break my bad luck streak of 16 years if I won it.
(2) I have a secret obsession with signatures. I like the way the pen pushes into the paper as someone writes their own individual name in their own unique script on the paper. It sounds a bit creepy, and I'm pretty sure it is, but it's one of my droll quirks that freaks my parents out.
(3) Did I ever mention that I LOVE The Mortal Instruments and practically anything that Cassandra Clare writes? It's pretty obvious, considering that I'm on the blog but it's true.
The Mortal Instruments is one of my favorite series. As I have mentioned before I almost didn't finish City of Bones, but I kept reading anyways to finish what I started. I loved the captivating story by the end of the book that I went back to the libray for City of Ashes and City of Glass. I am so glad I didn't give up! Now I absolutley love the series.

Alecia Dupont: I want this book...simply because I want it. Have both a hard copy of the book that was pre-ordered from B&N and I have purchased in on Kindle. This signed copy would be a true treasure that I would keep and show any honored guest in my home. The other copies I would re-read frequently, because that's just how I am. If it was a good book the first time, it should be an even better read the second time. And COFA certainly delivers!

I would enjoy a copy of CoFA signed and with the letter so I can display it with my other favorite series like Twilight, Vampire Academy, Sookie Stackhouse series, Vampire Diaries and The Immortal series. ReplyDeleteI want to win because I was in bootcamp when Cassie and Holly came to my city and no one went to get my books signed for me, then 5 days AFTER they came to my city, I was medically discharged so it sucked all around. When I went to B&N they said they had no signed copies in the store because of how long Cassie and Holly were there and there were no limited editions left.

I would love to win this amazing book because I've read tons of great reviews in e-mails form all the book blogs I've subscribed to as well as on Goodreads in the past two weeks and it's just unfair that I have to be tortured this way (by reading the excellent reviews but not having the book in hand). I can't buy it at the moment because I'm working on a student budget. More importantly, though, I don't live in the U.S. so even if I ordered it online or bought it in a book store, I still would never have the chance to read Jace's letter to Clary because that's not included in the international edition and is only available to U.S. citizens. I was so desperate to get a U.S. copy of the book that I was on the verge of texting an acquaintance who's in the U.S. on holiday with her family at the moment to get ask her to get a copy for me but, since I've only recently met her and don't know her very well, I could not ask her for such a favour. Lastly, this is a SIGNED copy of the book which is so amazingly awesome and even better than just having Jace's letter to Clary in it because it's also got Cassandra Clare's signature in it. Wow! And May is the month in which I turn 21 so I'm hoping that my birthday wish comes true and that I win this book:)

I really want to win this because here in Mexico I dont have the books in english so I cant get what Cassie wanted to tell us in her book so I always have to Beg if someone goes to usa to buy me the books, I have one copy in english and one in spanish of each of the series, all except the fourth, I read it practically stealing my sisters kindle but its not the same, Cassandra Clare is my favourite author, I cant seem to get enough from her stories, everyday I open google chrome and inmediately go to her page to see if she has posted anything new. I fell in love with TMI series when, three Chritmas ago, my sister gave me the first book as Christmas present. It was the Spanish edition and, after I finished the book, I was upset because the second one wasn't translated yet. Then I decided that it was time to re-learn my poor English and improve it :) I read the next books in English with my Kindle, because I couldn't wait; but I keep buying the Spanish books to share with my sister ^^ So, we can say that Cassandra is the responsible I got back my English lessons.
Besides, it's a signed book, it's limited edition, and it has the letter from Jace! Again, who wouldn't want to have this book?!

I would love to win City of Fallen Angels because I am a big fan of this series. And also, here in Brazil I can't afford a lot of books in english, and well, let's just say signed books and a limited edition is a MIRACLE here.
