Jamie Campbell on Filming City of Bones

SciFiNow magazine out of the UK has an interview with Jamie Campbell Bower, talking about the upcoming movie City of Bones. Jamie says the movie will start filming in January 2012. While we don't have any other word yet on the rest of the cast, we understand why they've not announced anyone yet. I'm glad they're taking their time to make sure they find the perfect cast.

TMI Source posted a Q&A from the magazine:

What can you tell us about playing Jace Wayland in the forthcoming adaptation of The Mortal Instruments?

“We’re looking to start shooting in January. What I can say is that I’m incredibly lucky to play this part, and for them to cast a Brit in this role is a bold call. I feel like I owe a lot to the people who are fans of the books, so at the moment I’m knuckling down and trying to get my head around who this guy is.”

What do you guys think? I personally am thrilled to hear that Jamie is trying to understand Jace. I think that dedication will shine for him on the big screen. Plus I'm sure he's well aware of his daunting task to make sure he portrays Jace well. The poor guy has a lot of dedicated TMI fans to please.

The Dirty Sexy Club Scene

Well HERE IT IS! The Dirty Sexy Club Scene Cassie promised fans from CoLS. Cassie said there's a version of this still in the books, but um a little more tame. *coughs* WARNING... there are spoilers and it's HOT... Really! This is definitely a scene for teen & adult eyes.

Here's a sample of what you'll find when you go HERE to read the entire post:

"What's going on?" It was Jace, having fought his way free of the pack of dancers. More of the shimmering stuff had gotten on him, silver drops clinging to the gold of his hair. "Clary?"

"Sorry," she said, getting to her feet. "I got lost in the crowd."

"I noticed," he said. "One second I was dancing with you, and the next you were gone and a very persistent werewolf was trying to get the buttons on my jeans undone." He took Clary's hand, lightly ringing her wrist with his fingers. "Do you want to go home? Or dance some more?"

"Dance some more," she said, breathlessly. "Is that all right?"

"Go ahead." Sebastian leaned back, his hands braced behind him on the fountain's edge, his smile like the edge of a straight razor. "I don't mind watching."

Now that I've read this, I want to read the scenes leading up to this. Jace definitely isn't acting like himself..... maybe I should say he's a lot more um "bold". HAHA Not that he's already not, but after you read this you'll know what I'm talking about. Of course he is a boy..... I'll just leave it at that.

Make sure you go HERE to read all of Cassie's posts on her LJ site.

Thoughtful Thursday- Unwinding

I am literally just getting back from vacation, and what a wonderful time it was. I'm wishing I could go back, it went by way too fast. Thank you to Sophie & Cynthia for taking care of everything while I was away. We went to Pensacola Beach, FL. It was my first time going to beautiful FL, and I couldn't get over how white the beaches are. They're amazing. This picture is one I took when I was walking down to the beach when the sun was just coming up.

This vacation came right at the perfect time. It feels like life has gone in every direction lately and it was nice to just be away from it all, the phone, the computer (for the most part), work, stress etc and just spend time together. It was so rejuvenating! Normally I spend time reading to escape reality for bit, and surprisingly I read very little while we there. Plus we found a deal we couldn't pass up. We went with some friends of ours and ventured on a really fun 13 hr road trip to get there.

My question for you is "What do you do to relax or to just escape the stresses of every day life?" Do you go to your favorite spot and read, do you go on vacation? If so, where do you like to travel to? I've not even been home for more than a few hours and I'm already planning on where we can go next.
