Thoughtful Thursday: TMI Movie Set Visit / TMI Fandom of Awesomeness

Happy Day before Friday (YAY!). Is it me or has September flown by crazy fast. Today is the big day! Myself a few other TMI fansites are all headed up to Toronto for tomorrow's TMI set visit. I'm seriously still in shock over this whole trip and invitation to be on set. Though I'll be extremely limited on posting tomorrow *no pictures are allowed to be taken on set* I am really looking forward to sharing what I'm allowed to with you guys. With this trip I'll also not being around email wise, and have limited access to everything else, though I will do my best to post a few pictures from this weekend on Twitter, Instagram & Facebook (just no set pics).

Blog wise, as you can probably tell the blog has been a little behind on reviews. With all that's been going on I've not had the time I had hoped to keep up with everything blog wise on both Mundie Moms and Mundie Kids this week and last. Which is okay as there's been other things happening on the blog, but at the same time there have been some amazing releases and books I've read I'm excited to tell you guys about. I apologize for being behind my reviews. I hate falling behind, but that will just mean more reviews for next week and some awesome giveaways!!!

I want to give a huge shout out and say THANK YOU to those who have been nothing but excited for all of us who have been invite to the set. I also have to say thank you to those who listened to my freaking out over the ordeal of my getting my passport within a 5 day period. To say I was stressed last week is a huge understatement. This week I've moved from feeling stress to anxious. I swear I need to find my happy place, because no matter if I'm flying or driving when I take a trip I always feel this way, but once I'm at my destination I feel totally fine. I really need an anxious rune right now. lol

Movie set wise, I'm extremely honored to have been invited on set. I had no idea anything like this was going to happen. I'm really looking forward to meeting some of my fandom friends whom I've talked with almost daily for awhile now. I feel the The Mortal Instruments has an amazing fandom, if not the best. From the relationship many of the fandoms have with each other, to an author, the cast and crew of the film, and to the movie executives who take the time to talk with, or tweet from the set, it's amazing! I've not known another fandom like this. Cassandra Clare, I feel has made this fandom what it is. She is one of the most genuine people I know. I'm in awe over her taking the time out of her incredibly hectic schedule to answer fan questions, tweet with us on twitter, respond to our questions on tumblr, and over all taking the time she does to keep her fans in the loop with everything that's going on movie wise, writing wise and so forth.

Here's to a weekend full of TMI awesomeness!
