The Eternity Cure Blog Tour: My Movie Casting Choices / A Giveaway

Welcome to today's The Eternity Cure blog tour hosted by Kismet. Today's stop not only features a giveaway, but a post about who I'd choose for the casting of Allie and Zeke for The Blood Eden movie. If you guys know me, you know how horrible I am with actors and actresses names, unless of course they're cast in the City of Bones movie. Kismet was kind enough to send me over a list fans have come up with and before I share with you who I picked, here's who some of the fans of picked:

ZEKE: Allie’s love
Ian Somerhalder (in fact he was the big favorite…for ALL PARTS!)
Zac Efron
Alex Pettyfer
Jensen Ackles

ALLIE: main character
Chiaki Kuriyama
Jamie Chung
Brenda Song
Devon Aoki

Here's who I would choose, and tell me what you guys think of my choices.

For Zeke: I would so say JENSEN ACKLES, but I already have him in my head as Gideon for the Clockwork Angel movie, so he has to stay a Shadowhunter.... so I'm going with the majority here and saying Ian Somerhalder. We know know he rocks being in a vampire world right!?! Plus, it's Ian. I can't say no to this....

Oops, that's not Ian *snickers* Okay admit it, you're staring at this picture too wondering if he'd be a better Gideon or a better Zeke right!?! We could let him be both. I'm just saying...... though picture Jensen in runes, and you'll see what I'm talking about with him being Gideon. ;)

OKay back to Zeke..... here's who I would agree could totally play Zeke.

Yeah. Zeke..........

So I'm bad when I read a book, because I don't like to always picture a certain person as the character I'm reading about, and quite honestly I really didn't have anyone picture specifically for Allie. I mean I had someone visualized, but not a certain person, but when I saw this picture of Jamie Chung, my first thought was ALLIE!

I don't know why, but she's someone I can totally see as Allie. She has that look that I picture Allie having.

Okay, those are my casting choices, and I'd love to hear your choices!

Don't forget to check out Julie Kagawa's Blood of Eden series (click the link to be taken to the new site).

About Eternity Cure - book #2  Goodreads | Amazon

You won’t want to miss book 2 in Julie Kagawa’s dystopian masterpiece, Blood of Eden, optioned for a movie by Palomar Pictures.

How do you face the end of eternity?

In Allison Sekemoto’s world, there is one rule left: Blood calls to blood.

She has done the unthinkable: died so that she might continue to live. Cast out of Eden and separated from the boy she dared to love, Allie will follow the call of blood to save her creator, Kanin, from the psychotic vampire Sarren. But when the trail leads to Allie’s birthplace in New Covington, what Allie finds there will change the world forever-and possibly end human and vampire existence.

About The Immortal Rules - Book #1 Goodreads  | Amazon

A Legend begins.

Allison Sekemoto survives in the Fringe, the outermost circle of a walled-in city.
By day, she and her crew scavenge for food. By night, any one of them could be eaten.
Some days, all that drives Allie is her hatred of them—the vampires who keep humans as blood cattle. Until the night Allie herself dies and becomes one of the monsters.
Enter Julie Kagawa’s dark and twisted world as an unforgettable journey begins.

About Julie Kagawa - website, blog,  Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads

Julie Kagawa was born in Sacramento, California. But nothing exciting really happened to her there. So, at the age of nine she and her family moved to Hawaii, which she soon discovered was inhabited by large carnivorous insects, colonies of house geckos and frequent hurricanes. She spent much of her time in the ocean, when she wasn’t getting chased out of it by reef sharks, jellyfish and the odd eel.

To pay the rent, Julie worked in different bookstores over the years, but discovered the managers frowned upon her reading the books she was supposed to be shelving. So she turned to her other passion: training animals. She worked as a professional dog trainer for several years, dodging Chihuahua bites and overly enthusiastic Labradors, until her first book sold and she stopped training to write full-time.

Julie now lives in Louisville, Kentucky, where the frequency of shark attacks are at an all-time low. She lives with her husband, two obnoxious cats, one Australian shepherd who is too smart for his own good and the latest addition, a hyperactive Papillon puppy.

  3. If Jensen were in a movie based on a YA book -- like, literally any movie based on a YA book -- I would die of happiness. He could just play himself, that would be fine.

  4. Team Vampire (in the setting of New Covington and Old Chicago). I started off the Immortal Rules being wary of the vampires, but Allie has morphed into one of my favourite book heroines ever, so I'd have to pick her side.

  7. For this series I'm hands down Team Vampire. I think Kanin and the awesomely creepy Sarren are just too intriguing! I love me some Ian Somerhalder, but I'm worried he may be too old for Zeke.
