Entangled Teen celebrated a huge milestone this month, their birthday! They sent out some seriously awesome prize packs. This is one they sent me. Many of these items and all of the books are ones you can enter to win in my 5th Mundie Moms Birthday Bash Giveaway!
Often times when goodies arrive, okay ALL the time, there's book fingerling going around. Then there's fingerling on a whole new level when I see myself quoted in an ARC or a book, and read an acknowledgement and see my name there.
The Winner's Curse is a book I read about a year ago, and LOVED it!! I was behind ecstatic when the ARC arrived and I not only saw my quote in there, but the quotes of some of my other blogger friends.
Joy Preble is one of the sweetest friends/authors I know. I was so excited that her publisher, SOHO Teen, sent me an arc of her upcoming release, The - A - Word. Joy brought me to tears when I saw she acknowledged me in her arc. I can't even tell her how much that means.

Gifted:
I am so excited about a few surprises that arrived in the mail this past week. A lovely Valentine's package from my one my dearest friends, who completely spoiled me. Aside from the treats, she gifted me with an amazing necklace that features fantoms like: The Mortal Instruments, Harry Potter, Divergent, Percy Jackson and the Hunger Games. You can see the necklace in the top right corner. She also got me Will's necklace!!!
Scholastic sent a lovely Hi, Koo! package with a framed, and signed lithograph! Koo is one of our favorite children's series.
Featured in an above picture is a book I've been so excited to read, The Shadow Prince by Bree Despain, which came with a sweet card, and a necklace.
Thank you to Sophie, Scholastic & Bree for the wonderful gifts.
Author Signings:
Over the past couple of weeks there have been some seriously awesome book signings I've been able to attend at both Book People & The Book Spot.
Ransom Riggs was in town for his recent release, Hollow City. I of course had to have him include something Warnerish in my book, which he did. NO Warner is not in his book.
Brodi Ashton & Jodi Meadows were in town for their newest releases, Infinite & Evertrude!
A few of us fellow Austin book bloggers, and local YA author Sheri Thomas got together to support them, and then we all headed over to Chuy's after wards to eat & talk books.
I love this middle grade series! I finally got to meet the fabulous writing team of Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis when they were in town a couple weeks back at Book People.
This past week the fabulous Marissa Meyer was in town at Book People to celebrate the release of Cress. She is such an amazing person, and author. I love visiting with her and her husband, who have now been to Austin for her last couple book releases. Her signings are like a huge party, and this one was complete with a photo booth.
Our group with Marissa having fun taking pictures and then myself and Marissa.
This lovely picture features the SIGNED copy of CRESS you can enter to win via my Mundie Moms 5th Birthday Bash, and the Cress comb & a signed poster will be giving away soon! You can read my live tweets from the signing via the #SAVECRESS hashtag on Twitter.
**Please note that both of these book stores have signed stock and they do ship internationally**
I've already raved about this movie here via my #Jane'sNightIn post from two weeks ago, but I have to throw another shout out to this movie! I picked it up this week, and have already watched, and plan on watching it again this weekend. It is down right HILARIOUS!! I highly recommend picking up it.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great week everyone and HAPPY READING!
