Shadowhunters: New Showrunners Announced / First Day of Filming #ShadowhuntersSeason2 Wrap Up


Shadowhunters TV announces their new showrunners! 

As the first day of filming of season 2 wrapped up yesterday, Deadline broke the news that Shadowhunters' welcomed Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer to the Shadowhunter family as the series new executive producers and showrunners. As fans know, Ed Decter, the previously showrunner, abruptly left last week right before filming was to begin. Todd and Darren bring a lot of expertise to the series. Fans may know them from shows like Smallville, Syfy, Dominion and Guilt. 

Deadline also reported that additionally, Matt Hastings, who fans know from The Originals, recently joined the Shadowhunters family as an executive producer and director. 

Welcome to the Shadowhunters family Todd, Darren and Matt! We're looking forward to a stellar second season of Shadowhunters.
